About Jasmere.com
Katrina was always a savvy shopper. She knew where to find unique gifts and always liked supporting the “little guy” – entrepreneurs pursuing a passion. When the Internet explosion gave us all access to a world of small-but-compelling retailers, Katrina happily took advantage. It wasn’t long before she knew the FedEx guy and the UPS lady by name, as they regularly delivered packages and gifts purchased from small businesses across the country.
“There are so many amazing businesses out there,” thought Katrina. “They just need a platform to tell their stories.” And with the objective of helping ‘lesser-known’ specialty retailers find a national audience, jasmere was launched in 2009.
Still a small, family-run business, jasmere remains committed to finding and supporting entrepreneurs whose passion, ideas, and products outsize their limited marketing budgets. Jasmere connects these special business to a national and motivated audience, lowering the ‘barrier to trial’ by offering exclusive, limited-time discounts.
Katrina and her jasmere staff (including the two little guys above, sporting t’s from tinyrevolutionary and sweaters from writeaway), personally sample product from every merchant featured on jasmere. Sure, that can be a tough job, but it ensures everything we feature will be truly top-notch, and that you the jasmere customer can always be a savvy shopper… without all the effort.
Thanks for stopping by. Let us know how we’re doing!
