About SavvySource.com

After giving birth to her daughter, our founder, Stacey Boyd, quickly realized that there are very few resources to help parents navigate choosing and gaining admission to preschools. So she turned to friends who already had children in preschool and realized that her parent friends were a treasure trove of useful information. Not one to keep the inside scoop to herself, she wondered if there was a way to harness all of the information she had gathered in a format from which other parents could benefit. Stacey talked up the idea with some friends, and over some of her famous goat cheese tarts, a small group met at Stacey’s home to begin making Stacey’s brainchild a reality – and thus The Savvy Source for Parents was born!

We now have information on over 100,000 preschools stretching from the Atlantic to the Pacific all the way across America. Over time, we have realized that our community is interested in much more than just preschool information. So, we’ve added features to allow parents to communicate on a wide variety of topics and share information with their friends. Savvy Source users can create and join Groups, follow their favorite parenting bloggers, publish updates and a family journal, share favorite books, toys and gear, and much much more. We have articles from leading child development experts, and hundreds of educational activities that you can do at home with your preschool aged children. You’ll find reviews on kid-friendly products from our Savvy Source editors. We also have unique local information from our city editors about fun things to do with kids in major cities across the country.

We welcome you to explore our site and let us know what you think!
